Teams
Sumaya has five teams. Your team decides your role in the world - civilian, cop, firefighter, or paramedic. You pick a team from the main menu when you first join, and you can switch to a different team any time from the menu.
The five teams
| Team | Colour | Role | Open to everyone? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Visitors | Green | Default civilian | Yes |
| Malaysians | Orange | Civilian with group flair | Only MYSverse group members, Rank 3+ |
| POLIS | Blue | Law enforcement | Yes |
| BOMBA | Red | Fire brigade | Yes |
| Kesihatan | White | Medical / paramedic | Yes |
Visitors
The default team. If you've never played before, you get dropped here. Visitors are regular civilians:
- Can do any civilian career: fishing, service sector (Mamak / Fast Food), palm oil.
- Can commit crimes (if you're feeling wild) - Crime and Law.
- Can buy and drive civilian vehicles and boats.
- Can own a house.
If you're new, start here and try a few careers before committing to an emergency-service role.
Malaysians
Mechanically identical to Visitors, but restricted to members of the MYSverse Roblox group at Rank 3 or above. It's a flair team for community members.
If you're not in the MYSverse group, you can still do everything the Malaysians team can do - just from the Visitors team.
POLIS
POLIS is the police force. You're on duty from the moment you spawn.
- What you do: arrest criminals, run radar speed traps, respond to 999 calls, investigate stolen vehicles.
- Starting tools: Taser X26P, Radar Gun, Whistle, Handcuffs, Plate Finder. More outfit and kit items unlock as you level up (see Progression).
- Vehicles: police cars, unlocked as you level up.
- Rewards: XP and Ringgit per arrest, scaled by the criminal's wanted-star level. See Polis for the full reward table.
- Ranks: start as a Police Constable, work up to Commissioner of Police. 16 ranks across levels 1-89.
POLIS is the most dynamic emergency role - there's always something happening if criminals are active. Read Polis for how arrests work.
BOMBA
BOMBA (pronounced "bom-bah") is the Malaysian fire brigade.
- What you do: put out fires with hoses, connect to hydrants, drive fire trucks to incidents.
- Starting tools: Fire Extinguisher. The fire hose isn't a starting tool - you pick it up from hose outlets on fire trucks and hydrants at the scene.
- Vehicles: fire engines and water tankers, unlocked as you level up.
- Rewards: 5 XP and 15 Ringgit per fire block extinguished, with a 150 Ringgit bonus every 15 blocks. See Bomba.
- Ranks: start as a Fire Officer (PB), top out at Fire Commissioner (PjB). 13 ranks across levels 1-76.
Fires spawn roughly every 6 minutes while BOMBA players are online. You'll see a big alert on the minimap when one starts. See Bomba for how the hose and hydrant system works.
Kesihatan
Kesihatan ("keh-see-ha-tan") is the medical service - doctors, nurses, paramedics.
- What you do: diagnose injuries with a first aid kit, heal cuts with bandages, set broken bones with splints, take X-rays and MRI scans.
- Starting tools: First Aid Kit, Bandage, Splint. Stretcher and imaging equipment (X-Ray, MRI) live at the hospital.
- Vehicles: ambulances, unlocked as you level up.
- Rewards: 15-40 XP per treatment (more for major injuries), 100-200 Ringgit per heal, with a 150 Ringgit bonus every 10 treatments.
- Ranks: start as a Medical Trainee, top out at Director General of Health. 13 ranks across levels 1-81.
Kesihatan also unlocks a game-wide +15% player-level XP bonus when their injury system is active, which benefits everyone on the server. See Kesihatan.
Switching teams
Open the main menu again (from the phone or the pause screen) and pick a different team. Your data, money, vehicles, house, and XP carry across - teams just affect your role and appearance.
A few things to know:
- You can't switch teams while arrested or in jail. Serve your time first, or surrender to cut it short.
- Switching to a law-enforcement team (POLIS) clears any current civilian job you were doing.
- Your player level and sector levels persist across teams. If you've leveled up the Bomba sector, that rank stays put even if you switch to Visitors and come back later.
Which team should I pick?
Rough guide:
- First time playing: Visitors. Try the careers, see the town, get a feel for the economy. You can commit to a role next session.
- You like action: POLIS. If there are criminals online, you'll be busy.
- You like teamwork: BOMBA. Fire incidents are a group effort - multiple firefighters usually work on the same fire, and bonuses pay out faster when you have help.
- You like helping people: Kesihatan. Every treatment matters, and your work boosts XP for everyone.
- You want a quiet session: Any civilian team. Do some fishing, buy a house, cruise around.
