Playing a public service role — police, fire, medical, military — is the heart of Bandaraya's roleplay. This page covers what each team does, what tools they're given, and what's expected of the people who wear the uniform.

Polis MYSverse (POLIS) — The Police

Group: 1182710, 3048630. Any rank.

What you do

• Patrol KL in marked units (Civic MPV, Inspira, X70, Hilux).
• Respond to 999 calls (fire, crime, accidents).
• Detain and arrest suspects. See Arrest & Law.
• Issue summons (saman) for traffic violations.
• Use the MDT tablet app to check BGs, run BOLOs, alert other officers.
• Staff IPD Dang Wangi — the main police station (CID, JSPT, Ops Room, Armoury).

Helicopters

POLIS has a PDRMHeliSpawner — aerial policing. Spawn from station ViewportFrame picker.

Expectations

• Going rogue as POLIS is a severe violation. Police committing crimes = ban.
• Follow roleplay protocols — announce yourself, state the charge, give the suspect a chance to comply.
• Use tablet MDT to BOLO suspects; other officers will get a badge + sound + toast alert.

BOMBA (Bomba MYSverse) — Fire & Rescue

Group: 2957304. Any rank.

What you do

• Respond to fire incidents that spawn around KL (10-minute incidents until extinguished).
• Operate hydrants and fire hoses.
• Carry injured civilians or fellow firefighters.
• Use Thermal Imaging Camera for smoke-filled scenes.
• Staff the BOMBA station.

Helicopters

BOMBAHeliSpawner — aerial firefighting/rescue.

Fire incidents

Fires spawn around the map when at least one BOMBA member is online. Your client gets an alert (map pin + sound + tablet notification) when you're on BOMBA. Drive to the incident, get water flowing on the fire blocks, put it out.

• Duration cap: 10 minutes per incident — if not extinguished in time, the incident is force-cleaned.
• Cooldown: 5 minutes after an incident ends before a new one can spawn.
• Require BOMBA online: if all BOMBA leave duty mid-incident, the fire is automatically cleaned up.
• Late joiners: if you switch to BOMBA mid-incident, your client asks the server for the current state and the map pin shows up immediately.
• 5 hydrants across the map — place yourself strategically.
• Auto-sign — joining BOMBA automatically clocks you in for duty tracking (Discord webhook per session).

KKM (Kementerian Kesihatan) — Health Ministry

Group: 5760632. Any rank.

What you do

• Treat downed / injured players. When any medic team is on duty (KKM or SJAM), the global bleedout timer is 5 minutes (gives medics time to arrive) and passive regen is suspended.
• Staff the KKM Ampang Clinic and Prince Court Medical Centre.
• Use medical kit items to manage injuries (bandage, morphine, tourniquet, bag of blood, IV catheter, O2, etc.).
• Log medical actions via the KKM Logger tablet app.

Vehicles

KKM have ambulances, RRVs (Rapid Response Vehicles), and utility. Includes KKM Mercedes Sprinter, Iveco Ambulance, RRV Honda City, RRV Proton Inspira, Toyota Hiace Passenger Van.

Healing a player

1. Arrive at the downed player.
2. Use kit items — bandage (stop bleeding), morphine (pain), blood bag (blood loss), etc.
3. Use defib if they flatlined.
4. Their state recovers over time.

SJAM (St. John Ambulans MYSverse)

Group: 3027933, rank 2+.

Volunteer ambulance. Basic toolkit — torchlight for now. Works alongside KKM for civilian medical response, especially at events.

RELA Corps

Group: 2855852. Any rank.

Volunteer police corps. Tools:

MAF (MYSverse Armed Forces) — Military

What you do

• Base operations out of Kem Wardieburn.
• Parade events, ceremonial duties.
• Special operations (GGK — special forces subgroup).

MAF previously had baton and cuffs; the current setup is more limited by design.

Military Police (KPTD) — Kor Polis Tentera MYSverse

Group: 2817141. Any rank.

The military's own police wing. Has arrest powers like POLIS, but only over MAF personnel typically (by roleplay convention).

Combined operations

Emergency services often work together:

• Multi-vehicle response at major incidents — POLIS + BOMBA + KKM.
• BOMBA call-outs fire the IncidentEvent that BOMBA clients listen for; others can self-dispatch.
• MDT BOLOs from POLIS notify all on-duty officers (sound + toast + badge).
• KKM stabilises downed civilians; POLIS can continue their arrest post-stabilisation.

Tips & gotchas

• Play to your team. POLIS doesn't shoot first; BOMBA doesn't arrest; KKM doesn't engage suspects.
• Going rogue = severe ban. On any public services team, crime = immediate moderation action. See Rules.
• Use your tablet. MDT, MyEmergency, Vehicle Management, MyTow, KKM Logger — all free tools. See Tablet.
• Armour = Armor part. Vehicles with Armor parts inside are bulletproof (e.g., AV4). See Vehicles.
• Spawners are team-gated. If your team can't access a spawner, the UI won't show.
