Weather and time of day
Lebuhraya has a live day-night cycle and random rainfall.
Time cycle: in-game time advances by 1 minute every real-world second, so a full in-game day takes 24 real minutes. Streetlights and billboard lights turn on automatically at 6:00 PM and remain on until 6:40 AM. Drive with headlights during those hours for visibility — and respect the atmosphere; some roads are meaningfully darker at night.
Rain: periodic showers appear randomly. On average, rain starts every 30–60 minutes and lasts 5–10 minutes. You'll hear audible rain and see a screen rain effect while it's active. Roads don't become slippery, but visibility drops. Admins can toggle rain on/off with chat commands !rainon / !rainoff during events.
Traffic lights and junctions
Junction traffic lights at intersections coordinate across multiple signal groups (e.g. the BSP_Main junction in Bandar Seri Putra has two alternating phases). Standalone lights cycle Green → Yellow → Red independently. Stopping at red is enforced by the anti-cheat system — see Speed traps and tolls below for details on the Red Light offence.
Speed traps and tolls
Selected highway stretches have speed traps that measure your vehicle's speed as you pass through.
- Above 110 studs/s: a HUD readout flashes your recorded speed. Your personal best is saved to the Speed Trap leaderstat — try to beat it!
- Above 200 studs/s without emergency lights (ELS): you're logged for a Speeding offence, which can trigger enforcement from Polis Trafik. Emergency team vehicles on active ELS are exempt.
Toll plazas — Plaza Tol Jersik and Plaza Tol Putra Mahkota — currently accept payment through a CnG scan with a 12-stud proximity prompt. Tolls in this version of the game are free to pass (the scan opens the gate but doesn't deduct BR). Your first toll-pass is credited to the Bayar Tol discovery challenge (+25 XP one-time reward). Vehicles with an RFID tag on the driver seat can pass automatically without scanning.
Navigation
Use the GPS system (accessible from the topbar / phone) to set a waypoint to any POI. A glowing beam will guide you there, following roads — no point-to-point teleport for regular players.
Fast Travel exists in the game but is gated to MYSverse staff only (moderators / devs), used for event coordination. If you're not staff, you'll drive every journey — so plan routes accordingly. Every stud you drive is XP, so the scenic route is often the profitable one.
