Getting started ​

How do I earn BR fast? ​

Start with Postal Service (POS) — no requirements, ~70 BR per delivery at Level 1 scaling to 260 BR at Level 20. Alternate routes:

  • Taxi Driver (gamepass 150 R$) — faster BR per minute if bookings are active.
  • Bus driving (group-based) — steady if you like route work.
  • Towing (group-based) — 500 BR per clamp if you find illegally parked cars.

With the HCC gamepass, all job income goes up.

How do I become a police officer? ​

Join POLIS group 1182710 or 3048630 on Roblox. Any rank qualifies you for the POLIS team. Most groups have trial/training flows — attend those to progress in rank.

What's CAG and do I need it? ​

CAG (Click And Go) is Bandaraya's stored-value transit card — the in-game Touch n Go. Buy it at a kiosk for 100 BR, top up as needed. You need it if you:

  • Ride buses (automatic 5 BR fare)
  • Use MRT / Monorail fast travel (30% / 50% off with pass)
  • Drive through TapNGo highway gates (20% off)

If you're not a regular transit user, skip it. If you are, the monthly pass (500 BR) pays for itself fast.

Why does the reset button not work? ​

It's disabled at 75 HP or below to prevent RTAA (Reset To Avoid Arrest). If you're injured, you can't reset your way out. Wait for a medic, fight through, or let the arrest play out.

Money & shops ​

How do I buy a car? ​

Go to Classic Car Dealer. Browse, pick a model, pick a colour, buy (permanent) or rent (temporary). Permanent purchases auto-save every 30 seconds and carry across sessions.

How do I get a gun? ​

You need one of:

  • Firearms Licence gamepass (1,250 R$) → unlocks Ammulaysia.
  • A team that issues weapons (POLIS, KPTD, Moderation, Developers, Yang di-Pertuan Persekutuan, MAF armoury access).
  • Illegal Dealer (Hacker) for black-market items (5-minute cooldown).

Note: Ammulaysia has a 5-minute cooldown between purchases too.

Where do I get fuel? ​

  • Petrol / Diesel: Radtrol Gas Station @ Jalan Pinang.
  • Electric: 2 charging stations at Community Retail.

Drive onto the pump, exit the vehicle, interact with the pump, pay BR.

I bought a car but it's gone. Where is it? ​

Bought cars auto-save to your account every 30 seconds. Respawn at Classic Car Dealer and re-spawn your vehicle from the owned-vehicles menu. Your colour customization persists.

Arrests & rules ​

How do I get out of jail? ​

Wait the 3-minute release timer. After that, you can pick a team again.

If you think you were wrongly arrested, appeal via the Malaysia community server (see Rules).

I left while detained and now I'm auto-arrested. Why? ​

That's LTAA (Leave To Avoid Arrest) enforcement. The 3-minute timer persists across sessions — you can't escape arrest by rage-quitting.

Can I rob the bank? ​

Yes — Hazbank is a robbery target in-game. But note:

  • Server needs at least 10 players online for a robbery to start.
  • You have to decode the vault (time-based mini-interaction at the Decoder device).
  • Once in, you stand at a random money-collector point — your character is anchored while the count-down runs (so you can't just grab and bolt).
  • POLIS can lock the vault down manually mid-robbery — the shutter drops and you're trapped.
  • An alert fires to all POLIS / active responders when the robbery starts.
  • Expect arrest. OCG (Organised Crime Group) does this in organised events; civilians attempting solo usually get caught.
  • Going rogue as a public-services team member if you're on one = severe violation.

What's a BOLO? ​

Be On the LookOut. A police alert that flags a suspect so all on-duty officers are notified (sound, badge, toast). See Tablet for how POLIS issue BOLOs via MDT.

Can I drive a fire truck as a civilian? ​

No. BOMBA vehicles spawn from BOMBA-team-gated spawners. Same for POLIS, MAF, KKM, SJAM, etc.

Teams ​

What's the difference between MyTransit and Bus Services? ​

Both run buses, but different groups:

  • MyTransit (groups 5032738, 10394166) — the main in-game bus operator.
  • Bus Services (groups 12143635, 32663011, 11122768, 33328642) — SPAD-registered private bus operators.

They roleplay as different companies. Vehicle fleets are different. See Teams and Jobs.

I'm on Visitors but I want to join POLIS. How? ​

Join the POLIS Roblox group (1182710 or 3048630), get accepted (may require application/training), then open the team menu in-game and pick POLIS. You'll need to switch teams and respawn.

A team disappeared from the team menu. Is this a bug? ​

No. Teams with no players are automatically removed from the list to keep the menu tidy. They reappear the moment someone joins. The only exceptions are Visitors, Malaysians, and Arrested (always persistent).

Technical ​

I got kicked for cheating but I wasn't. What do I do? ​

The anti-cheat has been tuned to allow real combat, but false positives can happen. Look at the kick message — it includes a tag:

  • RL — rate limiting
  • MV — movement check
  • WM — weapon monitor

Take that tag to the community moderators. Anti-cheat false positives during legit combat, at lifts, during searches, and during CCTV operation have all been specifically patched in recent updates.

How do I get the Punch tool? ​

It's a quest reward at Level 25. You have to grind to level 25 through whatever the quest targets (roleplay activity). Currently the only quest in-game.

What's the game version? ​

v3.15.5 (as of April 2026). See the in-game changelog for the full version history.

Why is my vehicle glowing weird after a collision? ​

Crash damage shows visually. Heavy crashes produce smoke and wear. Reset the vehicle (respawn it) to restore full health.

What's Saude? ​

Portuguese for "health". It's the internal name for Bandaraya's health system (blood, pain, injuries, medical kit). You won't see the word "Saude" as a player — it's just the dev term for the system. See Combat & Health.

My taxi "Start" button gave an error. Is that my fault? ​

Nope — that was a bug in R15 rigs, fixed in v3.15.5. Retry.

Edge cases ​

Can I play on mobile? ​

Yes, with some caveats:

  • Vehicle spawners have mobile-friendly UIs.
  • Touch input is supported.
  • Some interactions (combat, long text inputs) are harder on mobile; recent updates fixed several mobile bugs (phone input fields unresponsive).
  • Claiming bus fares via tapping works fine.

Can I play with a friend? ​

Yes — invite them to the same server. The team system allows mixed-team parties (you can have POLIS and BOMBA on the same server). OCG and MAF parties are common too.

Does it ever rain? ​

Yes, but rain is admin-toggled — the developers turn it on and off via chat commands. It's not a persistent weather cycle. When rain is on, 3D particles fall around you, the sky clouds over, and a rain sound plays; otherwise the weather is clear. Your game performance is unaffected when rain is off.

I don't speak Malay. Will I be lost? ​

You'll recognise most things. Our glossary covers every acronym (POLIS, BOMBA, KKM, LTAA, RTAA, CAG, MRT, etc.). Common Malay words: Polis (police), Saman (summons/fine), Bomba (fire brigade), Kesihatan (health).

How old do I need to be? ​

You need at least 60 days of Roblox account age to join Bandaraya. This is a bot / fresh-account mitigation (set in v3.9.0).
