Emergency Services Overview

Sumaya has three emergency-service teams:

Picking one of these teams puts you on duty as soon as you spawn. Unlike civilian careers (which you clock into via the phone), emergency service is just what you are, not what you're doing.

What makes emergency services different from civilian jobs?

Emergency services also have the most detailed rank systems - 13 ranks for Bomba and Kesihatan, 16 for Polis, with proper Malaysian titles.

Which one should I try first?

Quick guide:

  • You like action and pursuit: Polis. Chasing suspects, running speed traps, writing arrests. Most dynamic when the server has criminals.
  • You like teamwork and big moments: Bomba. Fires are group events. Multiple firefighters on one incident is the fastest way to level up.
  • You like helping individuals: Kesihatan. Every patient is one-on-one: diagnose, treat, move on. Also gives the +15% player-XP boost to the whole server while your injury system is active.

Common ground

All three emergency services share a few mechanics:

Rank and level

Your sector level tracks your progress in a specific service. You rank up at milestone levels (e.g. level 6, 11, 16, 21... for Bomba). Ranks are titles only - they don't lock gameplay. Only your level gates things like vehicles.

Max sector level is 100 for all three. Ranks stop progressing before that (e.g. Polis rank caps at level 89), so the final stretch is just flex.

Ringgit rewards go to your wallet

Unlike civilian careers (which pay into your bank account), emergency service rewards are paid to your wallet directly, with the exception of crime-based payouts. That means you can spend them immediately without going to an ATM.

Bonuses every N actions

Each service has a milestone bonus:

  • Bomba: 150 Ringgit bonus every 15 fire blocks.
  • Kesihatan: 150 Ringgit bonus every 10 treatments.
  • Polis: 200 Ringgit bonus every 5 arrests.

The bonuses stack on top of your per-action rewards.

Demotion on wanted status

The game is wired to auto-demote emergency-service players (BOMBA, Kesihatan, POLIS) when they cross into 1-star wanted, but as of current verification the listener for that event isn't connected - you'll stay on your emergency team even after committing a crime. The demotion bindable fires with no handler. Don't rely on the game to swap you back to civilian; switch teams manually before doing anything illegal.

Kesihatan's global XP boost

This is unique: the injury system auto-activates whenever any Kesihatan player is on the server, and every player on the server gets +15% player-level XP while it's on (sector XP is unaffected). Deactivates the moment the last Kesihatan player leaves. This is a big deal if you're grinding - watch for the boost indicator before a long session.

Emergency vehicles

Each service has its own vehicles, unlocked as your sector level rises. See Vehicles for the full catalog, or the individual service pages for the team-specific list.

Emergency vehicles have sirens and lights (ELS). Flipping the siren on while you're driving an emergency vehicle gives you temporary exemption from traffic offences - you can't be cited for speeding or crashes while your siren is active.

999 emergency calls

Civilians can dial 999 from their phone to request emergency services. Calls show up on the MDT (Mobile Data Terminal) app, which is visible to all on-duty emergency-service players. You can:

  • See the caller's location on your minimap.
  • Read any custom notes they included.
  • Set a waypoint to navigate there.
  • Mark a call as responded / closed.

This is the main way civilians summon you. The MDT is in the phone's app list - it appears only for players on emergency-service teams. See Phone and UI.
