Vehicles
Vehicles help you get around Sumaya faster. Visit the car dealership to rent or buy a vehicle using Sumaya Ringgit (SR).

All vehicles are 4-door sedans developed by Protan, a fictional Malaysian car brand inspired by real Malaysian manufacturers.
How to Get a Vehicle
- Visit the car dealership in the city.
- Interact with the dealership to open the Vehicle Spawner GUI.
- Browse available vehicles — locked vehicles will show their level requirement.
- Choose to rent (temporary) or buy (permanent) using SR.
- Select your preferred colour for the vehicle.
- Choose an available spawn pad to bring the vehicle into the world.
Level Requirements
Some vehicles require you to reach a specific level before they become available. Keep playing and progressing to unlock better vehicles!
Vehicle Customisation
- Colour Selection: Choose from a range of colours before spawning your vehicle.
- Registration Plates: Vehicles are assigned registration plates that can be looked up by POLIS using their tablet.
Vehicle Physics
Sumaya uses the A-Chassis vehicle physics system, providing realistic driving mechanics including steering, acceleration, and braking.
Fishing
Fishing is one of the best ways to earn SR and experience the rich aquatic life of Malaysia.
How to Fish
- Head to the fishing zone near the water.
- Pick up or equip the Fishing Rod tool.
- Stand within the fishing zone boundary (maximum 80 studs from water).
- Click to cast your line into the water.
- Watch for a shake indicator when a fish bites.
- React quickly to set the hook and catch the fish!
Fish Species
All fish in Sumaya are real Malaysian freshwater species. Each catch comes with an educational infographic teaching you about the species.

Malaysian Fish Facts
Each fish you catch triggers an infographic popup with real-world facts about the species:
- Empurau — Known as the "King of Freshwater Fish", found in Sarawak's rivers. Can sell for over RM1,000/kg in real life.
- Patin — The key ingredient in Pahang's iconic Tempoyak Ikan Patin, a spicy fermented durian curry.
- Baung — A staple of Malay cuisine, traditionally cooked in Gulai Tempoyak or grilled with sambal.
- Tapah — One of Malaysia's largest freshwater fish, growing over 2 metres. The city of Tapah in Perak is named after it.
- Pelian — A popular sport fish known for its aggressive strikes, found in clean, fast-flowing rivers.
Selling Fish
After catching fish, head to the Fish Store in the fishing area to sell your catch and collect your SR rewards.
Fast Food Job
Work as a fast food crew member at the burger restaurant to earn SR. The job involves preparing and serving burgers to NPC customers.
How It Works
- Enter the Burger Fast Food restaurant and interact to start your shift.
- NPC customers will queue up and place specific burger orders.
- Follow the preparation steps to fulfil each order.
Burger Preparation Steps

Don't Burn the Patty!
If you leave the patty on the grill for too long, it will become burnt and unusable. Keep an eye on the cooking time!
Getting Paid
When you end your shift, your completed orders are tallied up:
- Correctly completed orders count towards your pay.
- Incorrect or incomplete orders will not earn you SR.
- You'll receive a Pay Slip showing your earnings for the shift.
Housing & Residence System
Sumaya features a full residence system where you can claim land and build your own home.
Claiming a Plot
- Open the House Placement menu via the topbar icon.
- Navigate to the Claim Plot section.
- Walk to an available plot in the residential area.
- Select the plot to claim it as your own.
House Templates
Choose from four house designs:

Furniture
Furnish your home with the following items:
- Bookshelf — A decorative bookcase
- Single Bed — A bed for sleeping
- Dining Table — A table for meals

- Mirror — A wall-mounted mirror
Build Mode
Use the Build tab to enter build mode, where you can:
- Place and move furniture around your house
- Rotate and position items precisely
- Access placement controls for fine-tuning
House Management
Use the Manage tab to control:
- Doors: Lock or unlock your front door to control access.
- Lights: Turn lights on or off inside your home.
House Customisation
Use the Colour tab to change the exterior colour of your house, choosing from a palette of available colours.
Phone System
Every player has access to an in-game smartphone, accessible via the Phone tool in the toolbar.
Phone Features
- Settings: Manage your in-game preferences and controls.
- Residence: View information about your claimed plot and house.
- Passive Mode: Toggle passive mode to prevent player interactions (see below).
- Wallpaper: Customise your phone's wallpaper with different designs.
- Notifications: Receive alerts for paychecks, incidents, and other events.
The phone features a realistic design with a front camera, volume buttons, and a side button.
Banking & ATMs
Sumaya has five ATM machines spread across the city for managing your finances.
ATM Functions

Wallet vs Bank
- Wallet (cash on hand): Used for immediate transactions like shop purchases and donations. You start with SR 50.
- Bank account: Safer storage for your earnings. You start with SR 1,000. Access via ATMs only.
Passive Mode
Toggle Passive Mode via your phone to prevent unwanted player interactions. When passive mode is active:
- Other players cannot interact with you in harmful ways.
- Useful when exploring, building, or working without interruptions.
- Can be toggled on and off at any time.
Shops
Various shops are scattered around Sumaya where you can purchase items using SR. Walk up to a shop and interact to browse the available inventory.
The MakmakShop is one of the notable shops in the city, offering various items for purchase.
Day/Night Cycle & Weather
Sumaya features dynamic environmental systems:
- Day/Night Cycle: The game transitions through realistic times of day, with the lighting handler managing sunrise, daytime, sunset, and nighttime lighting. Street lights and lamp posts turn on automatically at night.
- Rain System: Periodic rain effects with the RainManager system adding atmosphere and immersion to the world.
- Atmosphere: Visual effects including bloom, depth of field, sun rays, and colour correction enhance the Malaysian tropical setting.
Infographics & Education
Sumaya includes an educational infographic system that teaches players about Malaysian culture, nature, and industry:
- Fish Species: Learn about each Malaysian fish species when you catch them while fishing.
- Palm Oil Industry: Discover Malaysia's role as the world's second-largest palm oil producer.
- Multi-page Tutorials: Comprehensive guides for game systems including the welcome tutorial, fishing tutorial, fast food tutorial, and dealership tutorial.
Infographics feature title cards with images and detailed text about real-world Malaysian topics.
Parachute
A parachute system is available in Sumaya, allowing players to experience aerial views of the city and safely descend from high points.
Crash System
Sumaya features a vehicle crash system:
- Vehicles can collide and cause crashes.
- Crashed players may receive injuries that require medical attention from Kesihatan team members.
- A Crash Tutorial is shown to new players explaining the system.
- Players can toggle crash notifications on or off via the Crash Toggle setting.
Admin System
Sumaya uses an admin system for game moderation. Beta testers have access to additional admin commands through the Beta Tester Admin plugin. The admin system includes customisable settings, themes, and plugins.
